• Where would my website be hosted?

• What kind of services does WebHostingDoor provide?
  As the name suggests we provide Web Hosting solutions to our clients. In addition to web hosting we provide domain registration, website design and management, online website builder, dedicated IP addresses and SSL certificates. We are your complete online presence solution.
• There has got to be a catch to this. Is there any hidden fee I am not aware of at this time?
  There is no hidden fee what so ever. Our prices are clearly listed on the website.
• Do you provide Domain Registration Services?
  Yes, we provide FREE domain name for the first year with every web hosting account. You can keep the domain name with us as long as you host with us. We will also help you transfer your domain name absolutely free to your next web host/domain registrar should you decide to leave us.
• Will I be able to renew my services at the same price I bought?
  Yes. We will never raise the prices. Instead we offer a price freeze on all services. You will be renewed on the same price structure you initially signed up for. We sometimes give discount tokens which can be used by the clients upon renewal which means you might have to pay less to renew. Now isnt that great?

• What is your policy on money back?
  We offer unconditional 30 day money back on all web hosting plans. Your money would be refunded back into your credit or debit card if you are not fully satisfied with our services.
• I have Windows or Apple Macintosh installed on my home and office computer. Can I use your services?
  It does not matter which operating system you have installed on your home or office computer. You can use our services without any problems. Your local computers operating system has nothing to do with our web servers. You can run any software on your local computer and still use our services such as email, upload web files or do any other miscellaneous work without any issues.
• How do I sign up for your Web Hosting?
  The process is pretty simple. All you need is a credit or a debit card. All orders are processed online. Use the order links on the website and you would be taken to a 128 bit secure SSL client and order management area where you can follow 5 to 6 simple steps to setup your account. After the successful transaction it might take around 6-12 hours for manual checks. You would be sent your welcome email with all the details such as your control panel login information, DNS info et cetera.
• Can I register a new domain name with you?
  Yes you can. We will register and maintain your domain name for you for FREE as long as you host your website with us. We can register a variety of domain name extensions for you for example .com, .net, .org, .us, .co.uk etc without any charge to you.
• I already have a domain name. How can I point it to your web servers?
  The process is simple. We will send you two DNS values in your welcome email. All you have to do is to login into your domain registrar provided control and change the DNS of your domain name to those two values. You can also ask your domain registration provider to do this for you if you are new to this.
• Do you offer web design?
  Yes, we do. In addition, we provide you with a free online website builder tool called the RvsiteBuilder. Packed with hundreds of templates and updated with new ones every month, this software is sure to blow your mind. Works faster than any web designer out there and provides users with a creative tool to make cutting graphics and content navigation scripts.

• What is the typical hardware spec of your web server?
  We use scalable technology and our web server resources can be expanded as needed. Our minimum server spec is Dual Opteron, 2 GB RAM, multiple 750 gig hard drives etc.
• Do you monitor your servers?
  Yes we use Nagios Server Monitoring Software to monitor our machines round the clock. All machines are checked for performance every 2 minutes and corrective action is taken instantly if a drop of service occurs.
• What kind of web servers do you use?
  We have CentOs Linux operating system on all our web servers. The reason behind this is because Linux is way more secure than Windows and runs much smoothly on web server environments. Most of the web servers on the Internet use Linux operating system.
• Do you backup my website?
  We back up your data on separate hard drives on different servers which maintains the integrity of the back up.
• Do you offer Microsoft FrontPage Extensions?
  We support MS Frontpage on all our web servers
• What version of PHP do you use?
  We support both php 4.0 + and php 5+
• What version of Apache do you use?
  We use Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) however please note that the version written here is for reference only as we keep upgrading as the need arrives.
• Can I use Active Server Pages (ASP) on my site?
  We do not support ASP at this time.
• Can I use Java Servlet Pages (JSP) on my site?
  We do not support JSP at this time.
• Can I purchase more bandwidth?
  Yes additional bandwidth can be bought at the rate of $1 per gig per month.
• Can I purchase additional disk space?
  Yes additional disk space can be bought at the rate of $1 per 100 MB per month.
• Do you offer a shopping cart?
  We offer clients one click install word class Oscommerce shopping cart script. It can be installed directly inside the website management control panel.
• Can I edit httpd conf file?
  You cannot edit this file if you are hosted on budget, reseller or ultimate hosting plan. You can however edit this file if you have a dedicated server with us.
• Can I install custom software on web servers?
  Yes you can as long as they can be installed on linux servers.
• Can I have my own custom error pages?
  Yes you can create them right inside the control panel.
• Can I create my own .htaccess files?
  Yes you can create them.
• Do you support DJango and Ruby on Rails?
  We support them on our ultimate web hosting plan.
